I downloaded the file, and when I try to open it to play, nothing happens. Is there something I'm missing, or would this be my own computers fault?

This is the best update, not just because of more lore, but because Pascal from NieR (or at least the same model)  is in the game

I have been having this problem to where I can't press the button that lets  you leave the room,  I can't click on the bed, or the crystal.  At first it did nothing but be annoying, but now I am stuck in the room and can't do anything. I was wondering if there was a way I can fix it with out having to restart. If there is not a way then I dont mind having to restart. 

(EDIT) I am not sure what fixed it but its working now.
