"I wanted to discuss how disheartening it is that their work remains unfinished. At the very least, we have this prototype as a testament to what was intended. But the real question is: how do we move forward?

We cannot simply rely on the base gameplay this prototype offers. To truly do this justice, we need a foundation of both capital and specialized knowledge. For my part, I can craft the narratives and build the world, but I lack the professional experience and the funds to finance even a third of a project of this scale. Even so, I am driven to contribute my grain of sand.

I am genuinely captivated by the potential of this story. It could have been something remarkable—not just for the plot, but for its completely original mechanics. Specifically, the 'Encumbrance' system: the more gold you steal, the heavier and slower you become. While some modern titles touch on this, they do so in a very limited way. It reminds me of The Getaway, which was revolutionary for its time because of how it handled character damage—having the protagonist physically limp or lean against walls instead of relying on a health bar.

I have a deep desire to revive these kinds of visceral, innovative experiences. However, without funding or the comprehensive skills of a veteran game designer, it feels incredibly complex. What do you think? Is it worth the monumental effort to revive an original game before it disappears into the sands of time as a spiritual successor?"
