this is just a short review on the game as i've just recently took it for a test drive. I quite like the atmosphere and some eiree sceans, however, some scenes made no sense, such as spying on her through the keyhole like as if it was a bad thing, or when they where in the back room, her being nude and wielding a knife you can choose to frick or tell her your "JUST FRIENDS", how about the dice scene, maybe an option to ask her about her other hand, you know, peace of mind that she wasn't cheating, and also being "his" girlfriend, how does she know to find a secret switch and acccess some strange drug, seems like the game is based around siblings but maybe it sounded better if they where childhood friends, her parents kicked her out, and now shes living with you and his parents to keep watch of her.
overall its good, animation is a lil'jank but with some TLC I'm sure this game will be a.... killer...
Looking forward to see V0.6
Review:
The game idea is pretty decent, reminds me of a mobile game, I think it was called "Idle Kingdoms", game is simple, but some things are unbalanced and some minor text errors.
- Tavern tiles when done right will generate huge amount of income.
- When prestiging, the FoW tiles remain in the same location, so its easy to rapid deploy your econamy.
- Road tiles are cheap for the first few but scale stupidly high in the long run (also very useful)
- There is no farm/windmill tiles to take advantage of the plains tiles.
- Also no building tiles for Water.
- At the prestige window "Tavern" upgrade says "Market" instead.
- you can accidently purchase new land tiles whiles the upgrade window is open.
- The Hunter post tile and Market Tiles are underbalanced or useless, for the hunters hut, trying to give improvements will hurt its income.
Looking forward to new updates :)
I had the same thing, on week one, monday, school, interacted with two NPCs, came at 12:30, My best friend had no interactions even if there was a "Hang Out" tab, and the other two NPCs who you unlock would say they are in a club, but its unavailable, at this point, I was softlocked, and just like you, many buttons where missing, even taking a shower at school just had a button "Return".. this is indeed a sad day.
Mine was a direct download so it wouldn't have been an itch.io thing for me,
but they seem like they are in the same place none the less,
however, I'm not sure what the difference is from player.log or player.dmp, but if both (or one of the other) exists, maybe share that on discord/here for Keepherdev to see
The crash report is hidden in a Temp folder in Appdata Local, you can easily access it through this (Windows 11)
1* C:\Users\<My Documents>\AppData\Local\Temp\keepherdev\Dungeon Keep Her\Crashes
2* in search box type %appdata then navigate through Local -> Temp ->keepherdev -> Dungeon Keep Her -> Crashes
From VASD: <device name>Itch.io/dungeon-keep-her/.itch/temp/keepherdev/Dungeon Keep Her/Crashes
the main crash file is a DMP, you wont be able to read it but its best to upload the "Folder" to a bug reporting page, besure to compress it (Like Winrar or 7zip) and upload it there for the dev(s) to see.
