I just downloaded this and wanted to try and help some people out because I faced every problem under the sun trying to get this to work. Firstly if when you try to open it it says that there is suspected malware (I think this might just be on MacOS but I'm unsure), click done on the notification and go to your privacy settings. near the bottom it will  say you tried to open something and click "open anyway" it'll ask for your password but once you do that it should work. THEN if it says that the application is damaged and will not open I followed the tutorial "How To Open App Error "is damaged and can't be opened" Using xattr Command" YouTube video by Andrew Tsai's Tips and it started working again. FINALLY if your characters then won't upload onto the program what I did that worked but might not work for everyone, if the mascot you downloaded downloaded in the form of a folder- compress the folder and upload the new compressed file.
