I am actually kinda curious if there's any way to play V1 of the game?

I'll explain to you how the paint attack works, that one confused me at first too (even if your other points seem odd to me). As you've seen, the boss arena has three platforms, with a painting above each of them that has red bits. From what I've observed, the paint that washes across the screen will either be blue or yellow. One of the paintings will have the red parts change to that color. You have to then stand on the corresponding platform to avoid the actual attack (though I will say that the hitboxes aren't perfect so you could avoid it anyway), and then take the opportunity to damage the boss. Hope this helps at least somewhat.

Ahhh, I see, so it's just remnants of the old game. That's pretty neat.

Definitely enjoying the game a lot, especially now that it's in beta. I have to admit, I was not expecting to see Normtsp (I think that's their username) as the boss, but I'm definitely not complaining about getting to spank 'em (even if the boss fight totally confused me at first lol).

Very interesting game! Personally I'm more here for the spankings, but still. Would be neat if there were preference settings added in a later update; obviously you don't have to, just figured I'd throw the suggestion out there.

There are other torches already lit at an earlier point in the dungeon, make them match those.

Hasn't there been an option to disable abdl already?

Is this game still in development? Because I notice there's a lot of (afaik) unused files that would be really cool to see content for.
