I wasn't able to do anything with the shooting mechanic, so not quite sure if it was meant to be used for something.
I liked the colors and the soundscape!
Also great to see that the inspiration is driven from mythology!

Funny connection to the Jam Theme!

Very smooth and polished for a Game Jam game!

Also fun variety to play a story based game that fits the theme so well!

Very smart and interesting puzzles!
Also fits the theme for other plants "deaths" to be an opportunity for the last seed!

Its been a while since I last time played a "Brick Breaker" game so it was fun and a little bit nostalgic experience. Personally my favorite part of these games is juggling multiple balls at the same time so I wish it had that but overall fun experience!

Fun and very unique mechanic! After playing quite many games in this jam, your really separates with its uniqueness.
Would be interesting to see where a game like this could expand if scaled up a little bit but this was overall a very good Jam Game Experience

Good foundation!

For my taste, its a little bit slow but everyone has their tastes so that's just personal preference

Amazing visuals and audio!

Also fits the theme well! Good work!

Great foundation!

Including the death as a mechanic could have elevated this game to something a little bit more different from the Vampire survivors.

But it was fun!

Great visuals!

I kinda get the feel of a early 2000's web clicker game from this. I was stuck on not quite understanding what to do but then I watched some of the walk through and understood better.

Great atmosphere, visuals and sound design!

Mini games were a little bit slow to my taste but I think that's just a personal preference when my mind compares this to Overcooked and WarioWare 😅

Fun and very polished game!

I read some of the other comments so now I understand how it is connected to the theme.
I think that the setting could have been a little bit different because there is the whole sea surrounding the boat so If it wasn't for the theme I would have preferred a game where you have to get back to the water before dying so the "greed factor" would be there too

But from the mechanics, art and sound design is all 5/5

This game fits the theme so well with its mechanic!

And the puzzles got surprisingly complicated. I enjoyed the more puzzle focused levels more than the platforming focused but great variety, especially when its so hard to come up with fun and interesting puzzle levels in a tight game jam timeline!

Hi! Here is my game, thanks for checking it out! https://itch.io/jam/jamsepticeye/rate/3937531

I try to play through all the people's games who have posted a comment on my game's page so if you would like me to play and review your game, drop a comment on my game's submission  page and I will play them tomorrow before the jam voting ends 💜

(The game is very easy  but the Artist worked so hard on the art, so I hope that as many people get to see their results as possible. (You can blame any bugs on my programming))

Thanks for the great feedback! I ran out of time to balance the game so I rather made it super easy than super hard.

Its great to hear that people are interested to see this go further because I am very interested to make it further!

Thanks for the feedback! I had some big bugs with my Glyphs that I had to spend unexpectedly long  time to fix. As the result, I had no time to balance the game and I had to make a choice: brutally difficult or very easy. Especially with a chance of there still being bugs that can break some Glyphs, it would have been very unfair to make it brutally difficult. If people are interested, I will balance and fix the game after the Jam ;)

Thanks! My core mechanic with playing glyphs on enemies somehow completely broke when I added animations to everything and i spent so much time fixing it that I ran out of time to polish and balance!

Super fun Wario Ware inspired game! I think this is a very fun Jam Game to play! One of my favorites definitely 💪

Interesting idea! And great soundtrack 🎵

Interesting way to approach the "loop" theme! Very cool game! I don't know if it should have gotten a little bit deeper at some point? 🤔

Cool twist on a crossword puzzle! Great way to  approach the "Loop" theme, one of the most unique I have seen this Jam 💪

Interesting mechanic to move the cannon with a space bar!

Overall fun game but I ran out of ammo very fast 😱

And also very fun art! 🎨

I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed my game! 🙏

I also soft locked myself with a mushroom enemy during play testing and got most of the soft locks fixed during play testing but apparently there still are few that got past! Things that happen when on a tight deadline 😱

Big thanks for the feedback! 👌

Really enjoyed everything! Cool sounds, amazing visuals and fun mechanics!

Really fun game! 💪

Interesting idea, Would have maybe needed a little bit more polish but its the most important thing that you submitted something 💪

Great job on the game, very interested to see how much you have improved next year

Fun game! A little bit confusing at start, but really enjoyed after I got the hang of it 💪

It was fun tossing the cubes around! Failing the last level was really punishing, especially when I had no idea how to open the final EXIT after opening the blue doors in the final room 🤔

But overall I enjoyed 👍

Very relaxing and fun little experience. I accidentally tried to close the Pause menu by pressing ESC. RIP 💀

I really liked the atmosphere you created!

Fun and enjoyable short Jam Game! Really nailed the game feel! It was a little bit tricky to read all the texts while dodging loops but I think I got everything 😂

(Also subscribed to your Youtube Channels)

Thanks for giving it a try 💪

If I had a little bit more time in the Jam, I would have improved the game feel bit!

This is the first Jam where I had the Controls visible in the game, I hoped that would help people understand the somewhat complicated controls :D

Thanks for playing! I will check out your game too! 💪

Thanks! I wish I had a little bit more time to Polish the Weapon system and the overall smoothness of the movement.

The mushroom visual theme idea came from bouncing on Mushrooms in other platformers and I am happy how the characters turned out👍

I really liked the concept and I do enjoy platformers so this was quite in my alley!
Some of the platforming was a little bit too punishing but I guess that's a preference question

Great work! Let's hope others enjoy your game as much as I do!
