To answer some quick questions no it doesn't work on mobile (atleast with game native) and yes it works in linux, proton ge 10. 34 (proton up QT is how you get it) is what i used, others have used proton hotfix. Hf 

Proton ge 10-34 works great and plays well. Go to desktop mode, install protonUP-qt via the steamdecks app store (discover or if on bazzite bazaar) launch and install proton ge 10.34 via the drop down menus. 

Add the game to steam in desktop mode, ( browse where the files downloaded. Right click it and click add to steam) go back to game mode>gear icon>properties> compatability. Click force the use of specific steamplay compatibility and select proton ge 10.34. enjoy 

It works fine with proton ge 10-34. Just got done playing some of it last night before falling asleep on my steamdeck. 

(Gamenatice, tried protom 10 and 11) No luck here you can get it to launch, but once it gets to the title screen it crashes.

Addding to this, same for me as well on my steamdeck. I do feel its a anti-piracy method as well. anyway to submit a log ? i downloaded it for storage on my nas and warped it over. (slow internet  during the day and faster at night)
