Tips for Bambu A1 users...

I just printed these for a friend who bought them. I found the supported models were impossible to clean up. The unsupported ones printed fine but the default support settings overwhelmed the models. What worked for me was printing in Elegoo standard PLA, scaled to 42mm height, using Tree Hybrid support, Threshold Angle 23 deg, with "Support critical regions only" Checked. I recommend adding bases, which you can do in Bambu Studio.

With the above tweaks the supports were a lot easier to remove, although still tricky. The only real problems were with Solstar. I broke his sheathed dagger every time and gave up - oh well. But moreover, his ankles are very spindly at that scale. After 5 or 6 attempts not to break them I ended up merging a 2mm-wide cylinder into each ankle, which looks ok and seems like it will make him durable enough to survive play.
