Sorry I was just mentioning about softlock because the preferences bug, I will tell them how to solve instead:

On windows press WIN + R and paste this:
%USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/StickyKeys/StarSpawn
then edit your GameData_#.json
I just edited the saved preferences from hContentPreferences\":null to hContentPreferences\":{\"disabledContent\":[]}} and now everything is working fine.

Suggestions: 
You should add an extra information in the save file to check the version of the gamesave and when new content are implemented some standard value would be determined in the save or a pop-up would appear for the first time so the player could edit the values by himself (e.g. the new difficulties or the preferences)

At the beginning, after reading first part of the story, I tried pressing every single key on my keyboard, I thought the game froze, but then... I clicked! So, my suggestion is: Either you press enter, space or any key, or add an instruction on the screen. like "Click to continue" (This goes to when you sit or sleep as well, I literally tried clicking a lot of times instead of pressing any key... you did this on purpose, didn't you?) I didn't know how to use the computer, I thought I couldn't make a report yet, so I closed the game... After watching your video I think I should sit first, right?

Hello, should I buy this game from here or oculus store?

Is there any cons?

I tried to play it on a device without gyroscope, and I could see the video but now I own one with gyroscope, but it doesn't show video for some reason. Maybe it was an update or this device. POCO X3 Pro.

( update 1 year later: I am stupid, it was for VR devices)

Android version would be awesome, so I can play anywhere *wink*
