Endings are silly and its very fun trying out the different dialogue options to reach them. The illustrations are super cute, and the use of the background colors is a clever way to indicate how the decisions you make will play out in the end.

Level design was great, and im so impressed with your animation and sound design, you really did capture the essence of retro gaming!
Only things I would say is that I also think having some sort of checkpoint would be a nice idea. I also had a slight issue with the jump pads, it would launch me in different ways unless I landed directly in the middle, but I think that might just be a Playground thing. Such an amazing job!!
First, your illustrations are great, I love the style you used, really think you captured the essence of your story/narrative.
I think you also did a great job with the sanity and health system, maybe it could be cool to see some more text styles or transitions depending on how low the health/sanity levels are. You used them a few times towards the end, but I noticed that you can lose quite a bit of sanity before even seeing the sludge monster. Could be interesting to try out!
