I really like the visual style and the movement feels smooth and responsive.
Adding collectables would improve the gameplay loop greatly, and a mechanic which ended the game when an obstacle is hit would also improve it.
The character's animation is very smooth and the models look well made. The setting and theme clearly links to the brief of climate change.
One thing that could be improved is making the obstacles stand out more, I found it difficult at first to tell what was an obstacle since they blend in with the decoration.
The visual design of the game, the collectables and the environment accurately match the theme of climate change. The controls also feel very responsive and smooth.
A feature that could improve the game could be obstacles that take up more than one lane, where the player is forced to jump or roll to avoid them.
The background blends very well with the tiles and horizontal movement feels very smooth thanks to the animations. I also like the use of physics based objects.
The enemies could have been more animated to make them feel more alive and less static. And the ending could have been clearer. I wasn't sure if I had already made it to the end of the level or not.
The running animation is well made with good attention to the principals like secondary action. I think the atmosphere is portrayed very well with the background and lighting.
I'm not sure if they were made but not implemented, but a jumping and idle animation would help make the movement flow smoothly. Making some things clearer like where to go to progress and how the boundaries of the death zones would help keep people from getting lost or confused.
