Hey gang, this time next week will be jamming!

I'm super-excited to see what you all come up with, and am aware you may not necessarily have a bunch of photos of billboards on your phone, like I do. (Who doesn't?)

To help get you started, here are some resources to peruse for possible inspiration. By no means do you have to pull your billboard ideas from here, but there's definitely billboards galore below. These are in addition to a thread me and and fellow co-host James with a bunch of other images.

Remember to keep in mind what the judges will be looking for... (Or don't, the main thing is billboards.)

We both are super-excited to see what you comes up with. We love seeing creativity hit the skylines. :)

Onwards,

David

This was just too good to not share.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

We hope you're doing well and ready to rock those billboards!

We regret to inform you that we've had to slightly delay the jam due to a sudden health issue in the org team. But don't fret, because this delay grants us 40% more time to collect a diverse selection of eye-catching images that will serve as excellent inspirations for your billboard entries.

Remember, billboards are your ultimate canvas for creativity, and the possibilities are limitless! You're not limited to the ones in this thread—all content here is absolutely fair game for you to use in your billboard masterpieces.

So, let your imagination run wild like the brightest billboard lights, and let's make this event truly shine on those larger-than-life displays!

Also, I thought this could be a good place for people to share billboard pictures so you don't have to actually go in a car and find them.

In this way, we can all (safely and from in the comfort of our own homes) appreciate their majesty.

What others can you find?

Let us all share the knowledge.

Amidst the whispering trees and ancient stones, the modern world manifests its peculiar marvels. Behold, the towering monoliths of symbols and words, known as billboards, pierce the veil of nature's embrace. These mesmerizing relics, adorned with vibrant hues, beckon forth the gazes of mortals passing by.

Yet, within the sacred groves, we contemplate the implications of these enigmatic apparitions. Are they gateways to wisdom or merely distractions from the harmony of the wild? The  heart yearns for a balance, for a dance between nature's serene whispers and the clamor of human creations.

Oh, billboards, ephemeral guardians of fleeting messages, what wisdom do you carry? Are you symbols of consumerist enchantments or conduits of inspiration? Your presence evokes questions, stirring the cauldron of contemplation deep within our souls.

As the winds whisper through the ancient oaks, we seek harmony between the ethereal realms and the human realm. Let billboards be mirrors reflecting the beauty of nature's bounty, encouraging reverence for the land, and guiding seekers toward the interconnectedness of all things.

May the spirit guide those who wield the power of billboards, that they may weave messages of enlightenment, woven with the threads of nature's wisdom. Let these towering symbols inspire unity, respect, and awareness, so that even amidst the urban landscape, the spirit of the wild may thrive.
