This way, you can add more content in the future, and seeing as you're consistent, I don't think people will complain much. Of course, you should also add some scenes occasionally, because if it's just pure code for too many consecutive updates, people tend to lose track.
I have a question: so, from what I understand, the game is now more point-click? That is, to move around the house, you'll now click on the hallways and doors? Honestly, I think it's better this way, since I find navigating with a menu awkward. If that's the case, then the movement feels much more dynamic and interactive.
