RNG is nice but being able to control the direction of your run a bit better would be appreciated. In this game if you want to pick your weapon (which has a huge impact on how you're going to play) you just have to restart the first level a bunch.

That said, this game IS really fun, IF you go melee. Spellcasting is the secret turbo hard mode of the game, which you'll love if you're a masochist.

You run out of mana after two spells (out of the 5 on your hotbar) and then have to either run around waiting for it to come back (monsters respawn over time so this is not a good strategy) or engage in melee combat anyway, and since you have low health, this will likely result in death pretty quickly.

Really fun concept but a LOT of visual clutter making it hard to tell what's friend and what's foe, but man I didn't realize this had been made in 48 hours. The preview of the more fleshed-out version on Steam looks phenomenal too.

Fun concept but a lot of mechanics are poorly explained or not explained at all. Would be cool to know what "Heavy" and "Hollow" mean before being forced to make a choice between the two. Died to the queen bee because I hopped in a purple pool that gave no hint about what it might do and lost a ton of HP, then I guess she deletes your dice or something? Game has tooltips for some stuff but not others, hopefully the full version corrects this.

Fun game up til the final bosses where, depending on what classes and items you were offered, it's a completely one-sided fight, one way or another. Not particularly engaging when you roll over them and not fun to watch your characters get disintegrated with 0 real chance of fighting back. Hope to see mod support in the future, seems ripe for making custom classes, items, and enemies.
