there’s no release date for cruel season sadly

they’d have to recode the entire game in order for it to work on mobile devices so they dont plan on making one

there’s a website version but it’s not specifically meant for mobile and it’s outdated

Multiple created Clans will not interact with each other, and I highly doubt that this will be in the plans, as that seems like it would be incredibly complicated, if not impossible, to code

I ended up checking their tumblr page, and this is what I found:

“Hello! Currently our online version only has one contributor working on it and they’ve run into some roadblocks with it. We know the online version is possible, and if they are able to make it work with an updated version, we will make a post! Thank you!”

Updates aren’t guaranteed because the people working on the game don’t get any money from it and are just doing this for fun. Monthly updates are just what they aim for.

In short, there’s no plans for a mobile version because it would be hard to make one (especially since no one’s making money from the game). If you don’t have a laptop/PC you can’t play, sadly.

Taken directly from the official clangen tumblr page:

“No, it’s not officially on mobile, nor are there are no plans to move it onto mobile. In order to do so, we would have to recode the entire game from python3 to python2, which uses a different coding language and doesn’t translate well. It would be too buggy and our devs have enough to focus on right now.”
