SPOILERS FOR THE GAME
Thoroughly enjoyed the game. Played both the normal and Nightmare mode which all in all took me maybe 40 mins, I can totally see people beating this game in like 5 or less minutes though if they're good enough.
I think this game is just lovely. The gameplay is simple but engaging while the story, while still vague to me, kept me intrigued to the very end. Speaking of the end, that hook break at the very end got me, for a moment I genuinely though I fucked up at the very end and killed myself but no that was actually just the game. Also, the Centipede enemy scared the shit outa me the whole game, even when I was miles ahead of it I was always afraid to climb back up for an ember for health or linger too long in an area in case it catches up. Didn't feel like it overstayed its welcome at all.
Personally, I LOVED the visuals. Reminds me of older PS2 or 3 games and also Kingsfield in a way? Mostly grey and dull but the colors there are stand out among the drab.
Overall: This short maybe 20 minute game is very well made concise. While there isn't much quantity there is plenty of Quality. I hope future games made by Leafy Games turn out just as good as this. Great game man! :)
