Hell yeah, I beat all the levels! The game is fantastic: artwork, audio, progression - all is peak! But yeah, the game is hard. The game would be even cooler if there was a key for restarting the run, because sometimes you know you already don't have enough time for the future. And if you could practice the levels not when you already beat them for the first time, but when you first enter them, it would save a lot of time for me, especially with level 20.

Also, I encountered a bug. If you go START> PRACTICE and after that hit ESC and choose QUIT, then the level chooser will overlap the screen.

The game is great, it was an excellent experience to play it!

Oh, that's one of our many hidden mechanics! The torch will burn forever as long as you're within the campfire's light. And for the cutscenes, we only had an hour or so to make them, so yeah, they're not the smoothest out there, haha. Thanks for checking out the game!

Finally got it on 9th attempt! 4 out of 8 deaths were on the final boss, because the EMP is very hard to read and understand when it's going to go off. The area also stops following in the final seconds, so it's even harder to get K8-LY inside. In the end I simply gathered as much HP as I could and stood right next to her, absorbing all her bullets :D Because of that I was really low on HP when it was time to shoot, and beat the game with only half a heart left.

I see others are saying that the dialogue is hard to read, but I'd say it's one of the most fun things about this game! I agree that not everyone will be able to read it, but after some time, when you get good at the game and can divert more of your attention from, you know, not dying, it's a really nice refresher to look at and read while you're fighting the same boss for the 5th time. Moreover, Em1-LY's comment about undercharging after dying due to time running out really helped me understand the mechanic of undercharge and overcharge. I couldn't really get it at first. I'd only say maybe keep all text on one side? Although I do think that different characters talking on different sides adds a nice stylistic touch.

Overall feels nice to play and I wouldn't say it's just a Binding of Isaac clone! The timer and undercharge/overcharge mechanics alone are pretty unique. For example, I used to run all rooms overcharged, but for the bosses I used one charge less to get more time (well, not in the later attempts). These mechanics definitely have potential! Maybe you could make them even more impactful by giving the player extra health if they undercharge, although that requires balancing because slow movement from undercharge definitely takes some fun away from the gameplay.

And for the art, it can be improved, yeah, but to me the animations (like dashing, talking and transitioning between levels) were more important than the sprites. I liked them. Good luck with 2.0!

That's interesting how just a very long elevator makes you think about your life. Love the characters and artwork!

I let out a chuckle when I finished the game. It's so simple and fast! The stages of eating pancakes look cool and WOW, hand-drawn text! Just give me more pancakes and more time!

The start is so overwhelming because of the constant alarm sound. It was hard for me to understand what to do. But when you adapt, the game is very interesting to explore. And the voice acting is so cool!

From the start, the game caught my eye with beautiful artwork! And I really liked the challenge the game provided and the opportunity to find hidden hearts. So, of course, I gathered all 7 of them! But unfortunately, during the last battle, there weren't any bullets, potions or even the hearts that I had before. But it didn't stop me from completing the game!

Wonderfully done piece of visual narrative. I love it when stories are told without words.

Outer Wilds' ending scene was actually our main inspiration for the atmosphere and environment!! We're really glad you noticed :D

Such a neat and polished game! Feels very nice to play, but I wish the cats would move faster. Or maybe you could fast-forward them by holding down space.

I like the heat mechanic.

Cool game! We had a similar idea, but debated over 2D or first person 3D. I like how 2D looks here and the dynamic gameplay loop it allowed.

The monster got me by surprise at first! But unfortunately I didn't know what to do in third level.

I liked the sword and the grappling hook mechanics! I think more parkour segments that utilize them would be cool like in the end.

Wow, I adore this game and its vibe! It's honestly very cool and deserves more ratings. It's unfortunate though that you can't change direction during a jump, especially in a tight platforming game like this. I'm sad I can't beat it :(

JESSE, WE NEED TO ROB!

It won't start for me because it's missing a .pck file. I believe you have to have "embed pck" checked in Godot before exporting if you want your game to run from a single .exe file, but for us it still required an additional .dll file for some reason.

Very unique mechanics with planet gravity! I loved it from the first glance. Cute art style, characters and music give the game cozy atmosphere.

A "find 10 hidden objects" game combined with a first-person shooter? That's... an unusual combination. Very chaotic, I like it.

Got top 1 in every level (third one wasn't possible to do in sub 0.6s without an autoclicker though lol). First I thought it would be better if the gems were autocollected, but in later levels they can serve as nice waypoints if you choose to only collect them on the way back. Overall, very polished game and fun to play!

Wow, this is so cool. I wish I could do art and music as good as this.

Really cool art style and satisfying gameplay!

I feel called out by most of the characters here.

Waow

It was so satisfying to finally shoot for the first time! I couldn't get past the first shot though because something always appeared to not be right and I didn't know what. It would really help if wrong switches got highlighted after an incorrect attempt.

I really enjoy spinning the cat, but I couldn’t get past the computer’s lock screen
