I just finished the game, and it was a blast. It’s wonderful to return to something you played as a kid and relive that simpler time again.
That said, I agree with many of the points others have already mentioned. For example, combat animations sometimes feel unnecessarily slow, full inventory organization should be implemented, and some abilities should not take a turn to activate. Hovering over character stats should display more detailed information, and mechanics like random critical hits and damage feel inconsistent. A map with a travel option would be a great addition, as well as the ability to rearrange my hotbar abilities, and to train more "spells" to allow for more diverse builds.
Additionally, combat conditions should include tooltips when hovered over, along with a turn timer to show how long they remain active. The miss mechanic should be removed entirely. I believe this covers most of the major points, and if I missed anything, I’m sure others have already mentioned it.
As for my own suggestion, I would love to see a simple option to color our murloc character. Nothing too complex, perhaps four color categories: primary (blue), fins (yellow), lower feet (green), and the pink area on the back, with each of these areas being customizable (colored) separately. I’m not sure why, but I’ve always imagined a brown murloc with orange fins...
I also really loved how gaining experience felt in previous games, the sound effect combined with the experience bar filling up was very satisfying, I kind of miss it...
That’s everything from me. Thank you again for your work on this, I truly hope this world continues to expand!
