Oh man again my bad! (19 days yikes! Hopeful did not derail you from other projects) Yeah i'm learning Bazzite and yesterday trying to finally understand controls settings using Google Gemini and it finally clicked i think it was the HHD (Handheld Daemon) touchscreen controls i never turned off and other buttons. Honestly they need a conflicts may arise with steam controller description for that. Thanks for help and when i get to it i will leave a proper review of the game.

Hey, I am on Linux/Bazzite os and i am running into an issue when i start the game the characters head is stuck and will not turn very far i was trouble shooting for three days messing with controls, mouse movement and reinstalling. I have also tried it on my labtop with Pop!_Os and seeing the same issue.
Spoilers/suggestion for the game below.
Just a suggestion when it comes to Nightmare mode, I think the hook could honestly benefit a degrading durability mechanic.
Base on themes grief, regret and deterioration you got it all baked it the game tying so directly together. It will honestly be good because it also shows the protagonist slowly deteriorating along with the hook and with the flames/embers already both can slightly heal you and the hook.
It could a good mechanic and to decrease the random chance of you easily out running Jerry and beating the game.
Just a suggestion.
Hey, found the game on Twitter a day before my birthday 7th. I honestly LOVED THIS EXPERIENCE because this is my first OFFICIAL horror game I have played and since I'm scared of playing horror and love watching it, playing and beating this short experience just now helped face some of my fears. Absolutely loved it!

Nice first chapter, it feels like a DnD campaign with a great focus on the characters, their party interactions, some history on RENFAER, and SIMNEL and a few of their motives as they find the treasure. The art is amazing detailed of the taverns, towns, and forests and clean character art (SIMNEL's claws are my favorite). Only thing I would say is a negative is it takes some getting used to the character's lingo. But all and all this is a solid first chapter.
