It's easy to take shortcuts even for just small things
I was intrigued by the sci-fi space-opera setting which seems to promise a mix of Star Trek, Firefly and Mass Effect: a group of misfits on a space ship exploring and encountering various obstacles along the way.
Played only a short while until I lost interest due to the poor writing and characterisation in the beginning and the (im)plausibility of story events. We have people that are travelling in space ships, yet when they land on inhabited planets they need to deal with tribal societies that use spears and swords and fight wild beasts using almost no technology. This is old-school Star Trek style, and it's overdone.
Right from the start main character (MC) has access to a personal assistant/sex slave as well as a convenient fuck-buddy relationship with one of his crew mates. It does not feel earned.
The mutiny MC initiated at the start was not convincing and its aftermath was not fully explored. If he wants to defect/desert that's fine but he selfishly brought a whole group of people along, including a potential male rival and antagonist and ended their career prospects. This could make for great character interactions with interpersonal conflicts (causing friction and discussions/arguments) since all the people are stuck in a tight space ship and have to learn to get along and adjust to their new situation. MC could spend time on growing into the role of leader by gaining the trust and respect of his crew.
The interiors of the ship "Bastard" do not match the exteriors (count the windows, there aren't that many). The inside is rather bright (even with minor stains and wear), it could look more rusty or run down but maybe also cozy. The overall shape is obviously phallic and the windows make it look more like an airliner.
On a positive note: I appreciate the differnt body types and looks of the characters, particularly the females. Most 3D AVN just use one basic body and make minimal variations of it (e.g. giant boobs vs. large boobs). These women have indeed different hips, bust sizes, hair styles, etc.
The links to the GOG.com version do not work for me.
They just lead to the GOG homepage, not the game's page. Also, it can not be found when using the search option on their page.
The link to the download page of Sisterly Lust here on itch.io does not work, it shows a page with an error message:
