Thanks.

I tried it on my Chromebook and it didn't do it there either.

Then I realized that in both places I was running it through the itch app rather than a browser. Fired it up in Chrome, and it works just fine.

I'm not sure how to start the console in the window the itch app launches for games. I can find it in the itch app main window, but that doesn't help. Anyway, it works for me now, so I'm not going to dig any further.

(Edit: thanks also for this really fun and useful tool!)

When I click "Export Tileset" nothing happens.

I suspect file permission problems or maybe I need an initial config file.

I'm on Windows 11. Any great ideas?

Sorry to hear of your experiences.

Taking care of parents is beyond hard. I'm doing it too. Also without help from siblings, of which I have one surviving.

If you were taking care of strangers, it would be very hard.

But beyond that, there are all those old wounds being re-opened constantly. The work of replacing the strange idols and monsters we've built that we thought were our parents with the real people our parents were, and the people they have become. The work of building a new relationship on top of the very lumpy ruins of the old one.

And, almost an afterthought but really the key, replacing an old idea of who we are with a new one that is more real. Burying the old and partly fictional person we thought we were, in favor of a real person we are discovering that we actually are.

The life debt is owed forward, not back.

You need to end this project. That was your call and you made it. You don't owe it to anybody to continue it. Maybe when you have put behind you some of the ridiculously hard work that we didn't volunteer for and nobody (except for those worthless siblings who don't do their part) should have to do, you will decide that a new game is worth your effort. Maybe that game will start with pieces of this one. I'll stay subscribed and if you do that and place it here I'll take a look at your new game.

Hang in there. This is insanely hard and we need to do what we need to do.

Well, this is way too many words...

7 is where I used to crash on every kind of art.

The me that finished a piece is not the me that started it. And the two have severe artistic differences.

I've learned to remind the second to be a little kinder than his earlier incarnations were, and that has made a huge difference.

Nice!
