Hi Jeff,

Sorry about the error. Does it still happen even after you download the player2 client? That's what my game uses for AI. I'll admit this game does have some problems. Players complain about slow response time first and foremost. That's why in my new project I'm starting to move towards chatscript, which is a much simpler non-LLM AI program. https://github.com/ChatScript/ChatScript

If the jam is related to interactive fiction, then I definitely would be interested. What kind of help do you need? Feel free to email me at discerning90@gmail.com

I thought this did a good job incorporating AI npcs. I would love to see more point and click adventures with text command capability.

It seems like I get an F no matter what.

I kept trying to use the 'Good Will Hunting' strategy. He doesn't seem to respond well to that.

Web capability is something I still have a lot to learn about. However, I was able to successfully link the game with the player 2 "text_adventure_1" AI model. So the game should now be fully compliant with the contest rules. Thank you.

Why would you need AI for this? This is a standard choose your own adventure game.

I don't understand the premise of this game. Wouldn't you just give them a test for the virus?

Cool let me know!

AI is not such a great keeper of secrets!

Very cool. A lot of potential. But it doesn't require the detective to find significant evidence of guilt. It seemed like it only required you to guess correctly. This cuts down on the challenge level a lot. It doesn't surpass classic mystery parsers like Witness, which requires far more snooping and puzzling things out. One suggestion, perhaps the player should be required to produce their own verbal argument for why this person is guilty. AI may be effective at evaluating it. Remember that at the end of Witness, the player is directed to come up with their own explanation of the evidence they found (and don't look at the next page until you have it worked out). Definitely exciting things could be done here.

I must point out that during the first puzzle, when the player has to find water, I was able to solve it by typing in very basic commands. Without getting into spoilers, I basically asked the AI "how do I do this?" The AI told me what to do. I said, "do the things you recommended that I do." (without even reading it) and completed the level in this manner. It didn't seem to require a lot of thought.
