sadly i get dependancy problems on linux trying to use 3.9 so had to give up, i'll just have to wait for the flatpak version to eventually update 1 day which will include all the right stuff needed without breaking my system.

what exactly does the crt need in 3.9 that isnt available in 3.8?

Got it working now, had a slight hiccup as the archive of this is .7z instead of a normal more accessible .zip, i didnt actually have an unarchiver that could use/read .7z properly, had to grab 7z from the repos, maybe if others also get sidelined change the archive to a regular zip file?

seen comments of a newer version fixing peoples issues, wanted to know if that version lets us drop when hanging from a ledge like Spelunky Classic, currently i only seem to be able to drop off a ledge i am holding onto if i jump, which ofc makes you fall further and often hurt yourself.
