Played through an in-game week of this game and was very inspired by the mechanics and premise. I did pull one patron of each suit on my very first day, making it impossible to please all of them, which was pretty funny.

I am so impressed by the conciseness of the rule book! I have been slowly working my way through organizing my collection of ttrpgs from charity bundles, and a lot of the time when a rulebook is on the shorter end, it acts as more of a framework than an actually playable game, and the author comes off as indecisive. This is not the case in Shiv. You knew the game you wanted to make, and laid everything out to play it so succinctly

Has anyone else made a scrap fabric monstrosity? Lol, I feel like it's pretty in its own weird way, but this dress would be Wild irl. Like, I know scrap dresses are a thing, but the different textures would make sense of the bible's rules against mixing fabrics hahaha

The very first story in this magazine, "ask me to play, ask me to stay" made me cry in the best way. I haven't even read the rest of this magazine yet, but I need you to know, that I'm already invested in this magazine, one story in. 

This little novel made me tear up in the best way. It put some of the really big scary feelings about being trans into words so eloquently. I hope that you are in a happier place in your transition now than you were when you made this game.
