I think adding some kind of aiming (at least in the early stage before you get a few upgrades) would make this game way more enjoyable

Thank you, and it actually does! The patience meter starts at 12 seconds and goes down to 5s by the time you reach 40 score. Maybe I'll bump it up to 200 after the jam is over.
