We missed the submission by only few minutes because of login issues in itch.io, is there a leeway for us to be still accepted?

Greetings! We didn't know where else to reach out , so we are writing this here. We are college students and joined the game jam for the experience and to submit the game we make to our college. The problem is that our professors need confirmation from an organizer that this game jam is indeed an event of game development where we'll work on the game for all of February. We just need something to show the professors that the event we joined is a legitimate one. Could we ask that you confirm it?
