Just played this.  Love it.  Can't wait for the next installment.

I look forward to it

I love it.  A lovely story, well told and well illustrated.  At the end I kind of wanted it to continue but, at the end of the day, you were right.  The rest of the story (and, to my mind, there is clearly a 'rest of the story') doesn't need to be told.  My imagination does that.  It finished where it should.

And Gwen really is mindblowingly beautiful.  Redheads rock!

Delete button.  Sweet.  Started from scratch again and saves are cool.

Playing on my laptop.  Ok.  I'm going to try again.  I honestly can't remember whether I hit the 'confirm' button or not.  I've assumed that I did but ... I'll have another go.  Thanks.

Thanks.

Enjoying this game but I appear to have hit a brick wall.  I'm playing 0.5. I've quit the job at the hospital and the contacts button is completely greyed out.  Have I done something wrong?  Have I reached the end of the update

Just downloaded this again and want to start from scratch.  Started playing from the beginning and thought I was overwriting the saves that the new download had imported from the previous time I played it.  It turns out that I wasn't overwriting them at all.

The delete button doesn't seem to work, the save button doesn't work to overwrite old saves (although I can rename them) but the load button does work.  It's just that's it loads the saves from my previous playthough ... and I can't see anyway to do a 'restore to factory settings', as it were.

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi ...

I'm confused.  How, in God's name, did they come to that conclusion?  I've heard tales of Steam making ... strange decisions before but this is off the wall.

I love it by the way ... and what's not to love about Margaret!

Beautiful.  Thank you.

Playing 0.5 and things are going great.  Got the tavern up to level 25 and am making money more than enough to pay off the wee devil lady.  Things with Elara are going beautifully but, all of a sudden the game keeps shutting down on me and I get a text document error message -

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

While running game code:

ScriptError: could not find label 'zara_scene_5'.

I want to start by saying that I love this game and Emilie is a total darling and MC is, at least according to my decisions, a bit of a legend.

Now I fully recognise that this may be because I'm missing something, I have missed something or am simply not clever enough but I can't get through the bloody server sequence with Natacha and Iris.  I've gone through it a dozen times and I can't see what it is I'm missing out.

I get the reason for not having a walkthrough and I can see that the game could ... can go off in a hundred different directions

Ok.  I get the second point.  Sorry I missed that.  I played through ignoring all the references to Mark and the game works pretty much as I hoped it would.  I still end up with Katrin.

Keep up the good work.  Loving this.

I'm loving this game but I've noticed a couple of inconsistencies; places where the consequences of a decision don't follow.
The first is where you decide whether or not to invite Mark to play.  If you decide to 'remain silent', the next decision still asks whether you want to talk about Mark, notwithstanding the fact that you've never met him.

The second arises when FMC goes back to Mustapha's flat and she is asked whether she wants to stay or to go home.  I've selected 'I'm going home' and when lying in bed with MC, FMC still confesses that she's been unfaithful with Ronny.

I have to admit that I was beginning to worry that the game had stalled but I'm delighted to see that it hasn't and that it is still up and running.  I appreciate that, given all the work that is involved and that you are working along, updates will not be coming quickly but I think that the game has immense potential and, so long as I know that it hasn't been abandoned, I am happy to be patient.  Keep up the good work

You reported it on Steam, right?

That is confusing.

Probably misunderstood where you were there.  I went for the ruling council.  The preliminary votes - on armed forces, nobility and the plebs - needed the three votes of the three 'visitors'.  I didn't see Sarah as Head of the United Kingdom (yes, I said that deliberately) as a viable option

My reading was that it was Maeiv who doesn't vote.  The other three are voting on her proposals.

Beautiful.  May the Muses and the Fates be with you

Can I ask what's happening with this?  It's looking like it's been abandoned but F95, which is normally pretty good on that stuff, doesn't have anything on the 'A Bar's Tale' page to suggest that it has been.

I've kept it on my game drive notwithstanding the long wait because it's looking good but I'd really like to know what's happening; whether I need to finally walk away.

Love the way this has started.  Netorase all the way for me.  I like the consensus, mutuality and co-operation ... and trust of netorase.

Dara is an Irish boy's name.  Dara O'Briain, for example.

I look forward to that and to future updates of this game.  I agree with WolfRogers.  Amazing artwork and I love where this story is heading.

I really  enjoyed what we've got of the story so far but I have to ask, is this one still be worked on.  It would be such a shame for it to come to a premature end.
