DAMN! Loved the short prologue, the controls were smoothly coded for a space game. Also, the "pew-pew" sounds and the comments on crashing were fun. The game got monotonous when you had to travel a few thousand meters to the next mission. Also, if you press escape in game you lose your cursor, you might wanna fix this.

Overall, really fun.

The Pixel art made me go “Yesss” NGL. The monochromatic art really fit into the theme of the game. The small issue I found in the mini-games were that it was difficult to sync the heartbeat time this thing could’ve made easier, also to improve the game further you can add the training arc of Laika to have a complete story around.

Talking about the story of the game did touch my heart, made me think about the fate of all those animals used for experimentation for the human race. It made me (Shaydiesin) realise that we are privileged to breathe to taste the air, which is the last gasp of all those who lived before us. It’s their only true legacy.  Had to play this game twice once for the story second for the review and rating.

Starting from the menu I liked the background art with a palette of “greyish blue” giving out the space vibe. You could’ve added the hover effect on the buttons in Menu.

Even the in-game art style was <3 and the parallax effect was nice. But one couldn’t distinguish between foreground and background elements for eg. the pillar in the lobby when the game starts.

I found the walk animation was just two sprites changing rapidly. Also, one bug I noticed was that when you jumped to a higher platform you jump once more which shouldn’t happen.  Adding some kind of distinct boundary to both the ends of the arena would be better.

Starting from the menu, the start game menu was well designed. Even the vector designs of the levels felt engaging. Even the controls were fine no big issues around them. Some of the flaws we noticed were in level 2 the foreground and background were not distinguishable due to which some of the testers took time to play through. Another thing was that not all dialogues were skippable which may annoy a player who already read through them. Also, I noticed when you repeatedly skip dialogues in level 1 where you find the stars the “text” of the dialogue is skipped even before. Overall a fun to play the game.

First things first the game was “420” MB large. NICE.

The design of the menu didn’t appeal much but the in-game graphics felt flawless. Even the controls were easy but the difficult part was to hit targets from very far away some lock on target mechanics could’ve improved the experience. Also, after a point of time, the game felt monotonic even though the graphics were outstanding. The sound effects were good, not great. Overall did seem fun though.

Starting from the menu, amazing art style just the “Play” text had a slight offset in the main menu button. Very interesting concept. Also, the way the tutorial was made it easier to play for new players. The retro graphics and sound effects were done really neat. The parallax added in the level selection screen was noticeable. Also, the implementation of Kepler’s law (Not sure if it’s this one) in the orbits was up to mark.

The game was complex enough, making it engaging.

THIS IS THE STUFF! Consistent graphics throughout the game which were no doubt aesthetically pleasing graphics. The mechanics were smoothly coded. The levels made were

Some of the flaws I noticed were: In the dinosaur level there was a part where you had to jump over the stones to cross the water but one could also do this by running over them pressing the shift button. Other thing was it wasn’t mentioned to use left click to use the club in this level, neither it was mentioned that pressing shift you move faster.

In the traffic level the collisions weren’t smooth it felt that I wouldn’t hit a car and I would still and vice versa.

Overall would really like to play the full version of this game.

PS: I would like to know why the heck does Dave sleep on his suit on?

This was really a fun to play game and even fun to see testers tryharding. Interesting concept, although the graphics seemed to lack detail.  Very plain integration of theme though. The sound effects were Okay at best, though the background music was good. Adding a tutorial to the level would’ve helped newbies trying the game.

This game and Endurance Space Program should exchange their background music.

Starting from the menu, the design was good, especially the mouse hover effect. The character design was simple yet astounding (choosing distinctive colours over a whitish background). The graphics were good to where the foreground was well distinguished from the background and the lighting added the cherry to the top. Considering the mechanics of the game they were well written. Overall the game aptly and innovatively adhered to the theme. I also realised the levels were designed by giving them a proper thought which is worth appreciating.

Few improvements which can be done are: in level 4 the switch button overlaps the game scene and could've been corrected by shifting the main camera. The game became slightly difficult due to the ladder/vent mechanics. (Making the testers rage to complete level 4 and level 5)

However you choose to interpret it.
