I haven't had internet for the last few days, so I haven't played the games I wanted to and did promise to.

That also means that I won't be able to play any extra before the end of the jam, which is a shame.

However, I would still be honoured if anyone else wanted to play our game, regardless of whether I can play theirs in return.

Me and a friend worked on this game: https://diceopodstudio.itch.io/gunwheel

I really appreciate everyone who votes on it / has voted on it.

Everyone who plays and votes on it from this, I will play the games of and rate them too.

I know I have a lot of games I've agreed to rate that I haven't done just yet, but I have been busy the last few days. I promise I will get round to all of them, and hopefully I'll also have time to comment on all of them too.

Hope you enjoy our game, and I look forward to playing all of the games you have made!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Yeah I've found that as an issue, not great. Glad you enjoyed it despite that though!

Just played it. I did in fact enjoy it, thank you!

Really nice-looking monochrome palette, and a very fun way to add time pressure to a platformer.

Just played it now, and really enjoyed it. Great work!

Really nice gameplay loop, funny story, and its very satisfying destroying the city. However, more time destroying the city would have been nice.

Just played yours, good work!

Really interesting. Could have done with a tutorial maybe, but once I had figured it out it was very enjoyable.

The ending did feel somewhat rushed in my opinion, but I still enjoyed the process.

Well done!

Now, yours was really genius.

Might even be the most creative use of this theme I've seen. The voice acting was great, the CRT filter is great, and I can't find any flaws with it.

Oh, I have actually already played and rated yours. I remember very much liking the concept, but couldn't quite grasp the controls. Really impressive though, especially for your first game jam. Well done!

Thanks, I really enjoyed yours!

Really fun game, with some very satisfying combos too. Some more immunity frames might be good though, because I often found myself dashing into enemies then immediately being attacked before I can get away.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!

Well, depending on how things go and if we think of a meaningful way to expand the game, you may well get more! But we will just have to see. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! I definitely do agree that more weapons and options would massively improve the game, but really we simply didn't have time.

Well done, it seems you made it quite far then! Yeah, I did also find that there weren't many options for weapons later on, but at that point I was very much on borrowed time. Same goes for adding firing time indicators too.

I did at first intend for the wheel to be controlled by the mouse wheel and/or A/D, but in the end I decided that the grabbing felt better, as well as being mobile friendly too. However, if we do expand upon the game, I will be sure to add it as an option.

Thank you for all the feedback, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah that's fair. What would you suggest to improve those aspects? Glad you liked the art and concept though!

Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, aiming does seem like it could be challenging. I suppose when I have been making the game for a week, I kind of just learn where each one ends up firing.

If we do end up expanding upon the game, then one possible option could definitely be a laser pointer addon to guns.

Only being able to use a third of them is definitely fair, but to be honest I'm not really sure how I could improve upon that.

Thank you for all the feedback, it is all very much appreciated!

Ok not ideal yeah. Did it fix itself after completing the next wave?

Thank you, I definitely did enjoy.

Great game, great visuals, great progression! Maybe it did seem very easy nearer the end, where really I had everything, but then once it got to that stage I was able to complete the game anyway.

Maybe the only thing I would say could improve is the speed at which paper comes out, because it is painfully slow. Other than that small thing, I can't find any faults. Well done!

Thank you, would be eaten by slimes again.

Oh, the classic struggle of adulthood - being eaten by slimes. Would be eaten by slimes again, great game.

Two good games in one jam, very impressive.

Now this was great. It is a shame that there isn't a web version though, but I still loved it.

Really enjoyed this, spinning the wand is a really unique spin (see what I did there) on the theme, and the tornado is layered onto that too. Bennett Foddy would be proud.

I'll be sure to play and rate yours as soon as I get the chance. For now though, here is ours: https://diceopodstudio.itch.io/gunwheel. Hope you enjoy!

Great name and great theme. I did reach the edge of the map a few times, but other than that I really liked this spin on the theme, and the different synergies that could be created.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! With the gun waiting time, I was originally planning to have guns fire more regularly, but in my opinion that did remove some of the strategy from it. Thank you though!

Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I think gun clarity was definitely an issue.

Thank you!

Really clever use of the theme, very nice little puzzle game. Controls were hard to figure out, but I also don't necessarily think that that is a bad thing. Great atmosphere too, top notch design with that!

I made this beautiful creature:

Really creative take on the theme, well done!

I did have some issues with softlocking, but this is a pretty solid game. Well done!

I would also love for you to play our game, so this seems like a good deal. Here is ours: https://diceopodstudio.itch.io/gunwheel. I will play yours when I can, but I have been really busy recently so I don't know when I will have the time.

I suck at aiming too, and I made it. Glad you liked it!
