Hello! I just submitted Of Folk and Fey. I am intending to sell the nice  version with good layout and art in the bundle, not the Creative Commons version. I just wanted to mention it and ask how the bundle works to make sure I do the right thing and get the correct one included.

So cute! I love overlaying a fantasy world over the top of real life and I also love birdwatching so this is win-win haha.

I do not but if you could link people to my website I would be very grateful: https://saskiamarinascott.wixsite.com/dice-goblin-press

Aw, thank you so much for your support!! I really appreciate it and hope you like the game

Ah - did you buy the Grimoire of Secrets, or Folk and Fey for two dollars (thanks by the way) - if you bought Grimoire in the past I'll give you a link to redownload it.

The paid version of Folk and Fey is much nicer than the pay what you want version though! It has nice art and everything.

Hello - it should be there, but you have to pay at least 10 dollars to download it. Here's a screenshot, let me know if what you see is the same as this or different?

Hello!! I said I was going to review everyone's submissions and then I didn't, but here I am to review yours now! I love it - so atmospheric, and I love how embedded it is in the specific fenland location, as well as the specific folklore creatures you offer. The Uninvited Guest is so very fairytale, love that as the central confrontation, as well as the different ideas for who it could be. I also really like how you have structured this module. It gives a lot of guidance while still allowing heaps of creative freedom.

love this idea. I'm in love with the forest as a character.

Thank you! If they run out they run out!

Hello!

I'm so sorry, I neglected to add this to the rules at first, but please if you are charging for your game, could you allow community copies for the duration of the jam so that everyone can check out your rad work?

Hello!! Thanks so much for your submission! I forgot to put this in the rules, but would it be OK if you allowed community copies for the duration of the game?

Oh that's a great point. I actually don't remember now haha I think this one was a bit experimental. I think maybe skill points or story points.

It's OK!!! I just felt bad for removing it!

Hello, I saw that you submitted this game to the of folk and fey jam. Unfortunately it is a video game, not a TTRPG, so I have removed it.  It is a cute little game but doesn't fit the jam theme. I hope you go far in your game making career!

I took down the extra materials because of a core rules rewrite!

Yay! Thanks

My submission is turning out bigger than I originally thought and I'm really getting into some world building etc. I'll get as finished as I possibly can but I doubt I will totally have it completely something I'm happy with by the deadline. Is it OK to submit nearly-finished work?

Wow this is so good!! I love it. The reflective essay questions are hysterical.

I'm back a year later replying to you again because I finally played Making Tracks! It was really fun and I am proud of this little game! I made a pretty cool story out of it and saw some new train stations.

This is SO beautiful!! I love it. I am going to play it soon.

I like how when I read this I hear it in a mischievous pixie's voice!

Awesome! I'm looking forward to giving this a shot

Oooh this is spooky. I like it. I have one question, do the threat dice get added together and you have to roll lower than the total, or do you have to roll lower than both threat dice individually?

This is freaking hilarious. My only feedback is that it should include the Cassowary - the angriest and most truly terrifying bird in existence.

Thanks! If you play it let me know how you go!

Maybe a teapot in a tea cozy, a little cottage with smoke coming from the chimney or maybe a fire in a hearth.

oh, i love these! Maybe I'll reupload my game with some included!!

Aw, hurray! That is so cool! After having played your game, I can definitely reaffirm the compliment! It was a really fun game, easy to play, and took me through some really interesting emotions about my beloved passengers.

I think it would be a nice way to develop NPCs for other games as well, although I haven't done that yet.

And yes, totally agree about Terry Pratchett's ability to really make you feel the compelling nature of trains. Even though it was one of his later works where you could see the Embuggerance coming to the fore, it is still a fantastic book and the main reason I liked it was the train slowly coming to life.

hahaha this is amazing. Best character generation process ever.

Awesome concept!! I love this. Definitely keen to play this.

Hm. I was more thinking that *I* would spend more time. I'm not sure if more prompts would help that much, less is actually good imo as it's easier to remember and refer to. More movements could definitely work. Maybe even a few different metaphors, or  different biomes? Like an ocean themed one, a jungly one, a desert one etc. so you could pick one that appealed, and on each one the prompts could be slightly different with different art. It would be super fun if you one day made a set of cards - I would definitely pitch in if you ever did a Kickstarter of that. Then it could also double as like an oracle type deck where you pick a card and reflect on it, only through movement!

Another thing that would be cool would be a sample playlist for each prompt that you can access via a couple of different music apps - either hyperlinked for online or QR code linked for a hardcopy.

Those are my thoughts! Hopefully they might help.

This is an excellent game. So much packed into 36 words. The pictures are evocative and support the creation of the narrative for the GM. The mechanics are simple and flexible. Looking forward to playing it.

I tried it today in a brief session. It was really lovely dancing through the different stages and finishing off with some journalling to reflect. I think it could be quite powerful to do as a longer session. I also think doing it in a small group could be amazing but I don't really have anyone I know whose interests overlap like that.

This is beautiful! I have a conscious dance practise so it's perfect for me. I love the idea of a movement based ttrpg

Train maps are the best I love them too!

I'd love to hear how you go if you get to try it!

Aw I love this! Very atmospheric.

I plan to play it while listening to the quintessential train journey music - the album "Transsiberian" by Thylacine, a French electronic musician. It is a love letter to the train journey of the same name.

This also sort of reminds me of Terry Pratchett's "Raising Steam" featuring a sentient steam engine.

Thank you so much for the comment and I'm so happy you like the vibe. Let me know if you give it a go!

I haven't actually played it myself yet but a couple of new train lines opened in my city recently and I've been hankering to go visit some of the new stations so I will probably take some dice and a journal with me when I do and try and see how this works in real life.

This would be really cool to use as part of a larger game

This is so cool! A solo art TTRPG, I love it - journalling ttrpgs usually don't vibe with me but I will play this one for sure. Thank you!

I really appreciated the change of font. 10 out of 10. And actually seriously fairly functional, nice.
