I mean it surely dont sound so from their site. More like we still charge you even if you given us nothing and we provided no extra information that you have to pay for anything. I luckly realized it before anything was running for me but it does just seem as a very fishy method which restrains me from using it.
I just thought you might have more information than I could find.

I still dont think it is good to advertise something as a developer which uses so unclear and fishy structures especially when you advertise it as a "for free" stuff while it does not say anything about that on the site. All in all not really trustworthy for me to use.

May I know how you saw that it does because it stands no where on their site. They start charging instantly (which I dont even know if it is legal without any extra confirmation that you have to pay money) and also in there Terms there is nothing that says anything for free.

Agree on this. In general everything is very shady on this. Doing like something is free while it is not (At least I could not see anything "free" on Deepinfra). Than Deepinfra itself not really telling you you have to directly pay without even given them any billing information or extra confirmation on prices (is this even legal I dont know?).

Luckly I was fast enough to realize it so not really lost something but if you dont want to come out as a shady developer you probably should not give out deepinfra as free or deepinfra at all in my opinion.

There is still the progress tracker on their website. While it might not be an actual written update you can always go there and see what is done. Also if you look on the timeframes between the last updates it shows clearly that updates are taking their time.

For a developer it is hard to manage the degree of taking the time it needs to finish something and still making continues updates so no one thinks something is abondend. itch is not the best place to do regular updates so I can fully understand the dev not doing it here.

Also to the "what other people say". I already seen people calling a game abondend where the last update was a week ago so you not always can trust on this :D

I think if the game really catched you and you like updates accessing the discord server is not a bad thing if it is to much for you thats understandable than you have regulary the website I think. otherwise you might just not be interested enough to regulary check it which is completly fine too.

At least thats just my point of view.
