It was fun and well executed. I ended up losing both, but it was entertaining!

Hey, thanks for the kind comment, I’m really glad you liked it!

I’m planning to add more ingredients later on to increase the difficulty and also make it possible to bake different kinds of cakes

The game is overall okay. The music is good.
In general, it works, but it still feels a bit buggy in some parts.
For example, the character on the left side had solid ground, while the character on the right side was just standing in the air and didn’t fall down.

The game is fun overall, the music fits well, and the mechanics work nicely. Visually, however, it could use a bit more polish.

The game is really cute and works well technically.

What I personally didn’t fully understand is the purpose of the mirrored mechanic. Since both sides are completely identical, you can basically focus on one side without really needing to pay attention to the other.

I think it could be more interesting if the two sides were a bit more different, for example with different obstacles or small variations. That way, the mirrored mechanic would feel more integrated into the gameplay and a bit more meaningful.

The theme is definitely well implemented, and visually the game looks good.

A few things stood out to me though:
with the obstacles, there are moments where you’ve already passed them but still end up losing. On the other hand, sometimes you get hit a bit too early even though you haven’t actually reached the obstacle yet. That makes it feel a bit inconsistent at times.

Also, the movement to the left and right feels very abrupt, you instantly snap to the side. A smoother transition would probably feel nicer.

Overall, a nice little game with potential.

I think the game is good overall, but in my opinion it could have been a bit longer or more challenging.

I like your game, it was fun and I got the pie! :)

Thanks for the feedback, I totally understand your points about the controls and visibility, that’s really helpful to hear. I’m glad you still had some fun with it, and I’ll definitely keep your suggestions in mind for future projects 🙂

I like your game, it’s really cute and fun. And yes, you’re right, we’ve made relatively similar games.

Interesting idea with a fitting dark atmosphere and a short, effective jumpscare when you lose.
