The way the pieces react is not very clear.

Leads to the doing moves more or less randomly

Very original I like the idea !! It feels like it lacks a twist or anything that would make the gameplay a bit more interesting.

Choice of audio is very good too

To make your mechanic shine I would limit slots to the 12 hours, nothing in between. Make each element more impactful and having the ability to upgrade each one. Remove the fact that some decay.

Great Idea, would required some tuning and balancing to make the experience more fun.

I recommend making waves spawn based on a timer rather than waiting for last wave to be cleared, that would add decision making for the player. Also make the playable area smaller !

Concept is cool. Very original.

The added staggering is a bit annoying given the mouse movement is already not easy, if you reall y want to implement stagger add it later, specific for an enemy, and progressively harder.

I don't understand why you would hide information to the player about a level when it is a puzzle game (souls spawning late) this is really frustrating. Concept is very limited too

Move points and real time mixed timing doesn't do it for me. The player challenge is very limited

Best game I got to play this jam so far (I've tested a lot).

Concept is innovating within sokobond ! Leads very quickly to mind twisting puzzles (minor complaint I wish the difficulty curve was a bit less rough). Overall puzzle are well built and leads to great player experience.

Personnaly not a fan of the furry character, also story could've been expanded a tad more.

Side note : How did you manage to do this TV screen aspect ? Looks very nice

I like the concept a lot.

I wish ships were shooting faster. Also to make the game more exciting, I would have liked enemy ship dying in one cannon shot but having more enemies !

Poor balancing prevented me from navigating the game. After some patern learning I managed to pass 1st level.
Upgrades that give a very small amount (+5%) are not exciting. Even tho u can stack them.

You should make it cost more but give more back. Generaly I think this game manipulates numbers too big, make it more intense with a small time (10s) but make bullets free. The game will still be resource management but more intense

The barrier of entry is too high for me.
Some icons could help those blocs of text, as well as a simplified version of the game for a "tutorial level" which would be labeled as your first level

Mega speed but control reversed was definitely something I though about lol. I decided not to do it because then it would be hard to keep the same logic for other stats while keeping gameplay engaging.

No audio yeah we almost had a sound designer but ended up going without and ngl I was a bit short on time to even think about adding music, definitely would be better with a soundtrack :)

Cool concept, wish bombs had a more clear indication of when they're about to blow.
Great base for a cool game

Very basic, the only exciting part was the figures. They should not turn into a random direction and rather should be predictable

Lacks a real way of explaining to the player how it works. I took some time to get it.

Paste this it was somewhat fun, quickly repetitive. However a solid base that can be expanded upon !

Code wise great performance.

Design wise its a bit lacking, ngl its hard making a great original deckbuilding game nowadays

Very much similar to this other game with a button, lacks creativity for me

1st : What are these controls ? T.T

2nd : I wish the bar was a "wall" in fact I though it was that before I realised I could go through it. It would make the concept more interesting rather than just be a visual timer

Overscopped I think ? Type of game you need to play a lot to start grasping it.

Very well polished game ! Incredible work.

I can't even leave first planet

The game is hard, as mentioned I didn't realise how punishing my hitboxes/hurtboxes were... Don't worry if you struggle passing a level, its not you, its me lol. I figured a good build is going negative on the shield, given you can manage passing level 0 (second level) hitless

Way too stressful and fast for a sleeper xd Like any other ware please let the player know what they have to do before timer starts and/or make it easy the first time

Cool concept, lacks a bit of depth and player agency. This game could really go any way, either sneak as the cat, or maybe multiplayer

Definitely would have liked to see the concept expended instead of facing classic upgrades

Very cool concept very unique game.
Could have shown levels layout before starting counting down

Clever, fits the theme very well. Nice art. Story is cute.

I wish the gameplay was a bit more interesting and better explained

Lacks tutorial and clarity. Overall sad that I was lost cause I believe huge potential

Doesn;t load for me :c

Of course I had to test other games named "Level Down"

Your take is interesting, as you mention it definitely feels like unfinished, still a great experience

A game too complex for such a short jam. I ended up getting lost since the mega text tutorial and absolutely no way of knowing what goes on with buildings after tutorial is over.

You could definitely expand this game to fix its missing points and I'm sure it would be fun

Disapointed by the gameplay, I just follow the star, reading file names helps too little.

However I liked the concept would have appreciated better if more explored

Game content and duration really fits for a game jam.
LD was nice, not too crazy yet does the job.

I like the concept I love what you went for there, mini games were a bit boring

Lack of clarity

Not a big fan of the concept, I think in practice it doesn't lead to emergent gameplay

I think the theme is "respected" yet not explored.

Art is great

Hard to understand whats going on

Concept is very basic. When making upgrades, its usually good design to make them impactful ! we want double the speed but ... !

Feels like playing overcooked which I wish was a bit more original
