I just realized I forgot to implement that! I was kinda rushing because 25% of the game was done last minute. If I do a more polished non-jam version I'll remember.

I accidentally broke the game. I was walking up the stairs and somehow I clipped through the window and fell out. I couldn't get back in through any entrance, so I just wandered around the abyss. Besides that it was quite a nice game! For a proof of concept I found it interesting. I also didn't expect the table glitch to be that weird, but that's besides the point. The full game will definitely be something I'm interested in.
I was pretty frustrated the whole time. It felt a bit complicated for me despite how simple it should have been. Also, I feel like spinning wasn't a main focus of the game, and while still being incorporated it could've had more involvement. Also, I found a bug where if you accidentally shoot and go off screen, you can't get back and have to start over. I think a reset button would fix that. But overall, it was neat! Especially for game jam standards. :)
While it incorporated the theme quite well, and the story/immersive environment was good, I just couldn't get into the gameplay. It was a bit simple and very mundane, which fits the dystopian setting, but I'd prefer some more features. Also, I could never get above 350, and when I even got close my arm started cramping like hell. The cycling was also a bit easy. I'd just spam A & D for a solid 20 seconds and wait for a while. It was very immersive and I enjoyed the atmosphere, but I feel like it could be expanded upon further. No hate, just trying to give some constructive criticism. Still, for a game jam it was solid!
I hate this game. But it's still really good. I honestly think, that maybe more of an easing into the game would be good. I could barely make it past five points really. Maybe there's just some more of a buildup before the harder stuff comes, but that could just be a skill issue. Also, I'd love to see the horror elements incorporated further, like more of a kind of haunted atmosphere, but that's just 'cause I'm in love with horror. Still, this is incredibly creative and definitely not what I expected from a game jam like this lol. Probably a solid 9/10. :)
I just wish that there was a bit of a delay being starting the game and having to propel. I accidentally died like three times. Also, the game difficulty felt very constant, and I wish there was some kinda collectible power up for when you run out of energy or if you need to propel upwards more. But otherwise the arcade gameplay is quite enjoyable, and the artstyle was very pleasant! :)
