Hey, so after playing a few times with each character as the one wearing the bracelet, I’ve a few things that I’d like to give feedback on:

  • A minor thing but the mission with gender-bending still uses the same interaction as when the character was originally (sprite + dialogues), as if the gender change didn’t happen.
  • The game window is small and can’t be change.
  • The sprites are also small and can be hard to see who is who sometimes on high resolution depending on the class of each character (mainly Azar and Zaman).
  • The selected options in the option menu are not visible (no highlights), making it hard to know what options are on or off.
  • No way to go back to the main menu from camp or missions, or the recollection room (issue that I remember being on the first game, at least the itch.io version).
  • Not sure if I got really unlucky but the first mission in Vashti’s perspective was harder (in normal difficulty) compared to all the others for some reason. More misses from my team – mainly the dudes, also dying pretty fast even with all their HP – while playing in a similar fashion than the other playtroughs.

Yes, it is detected without any issues but what I mean is that some games may have some menus or actions not set to it (kind of like the blacksmith mini-game here not working with the mouse :D ).

Also, after testing, the controller works better but still has some lag to it, it doesn’t fully stop like with the mouse, but there is a slight delay (which I assume is due to how the joystick works, the input still in action until you release it unlike the one click of the mouse). Maybe you should get all events in a list before the event start and only check the position of the player based on the predefined list of positions/NPCs, so the number of checks wouldn’t be per NPC but element of that list instead?

Also to add one the Curse Realm, depending on how it works, wouldn’t be an issue from my previous feedback, I mainly wanted to check on it to remind myself on where I was on it or what path I was on depending of the game choices (like going – full – corruption or not), as some days or weeks may happen between plays. But I guess the corruption level kind of does this job I guess, so it would depend on what the Curse Realm would have to offers in terms of choices, etc.! ^^

Anyway, there may have been one last thing I wanted to mention but I forgot so it was probably not that important!

Yes, I didn’t think about a controller, it tends to be either hit or miss with RPG Maker games from my experience, but more so not working (or not fully). And it depends sometimes of the games mechanics too if not implemented for controllers, which in that case have controller only working with what RPG Maker has setup by default. But I will try next time! :)

Mouse movement

I see, I just play from my bed sometimes but the keyboard being too far make me use the mouse only :D Not a huge issue, I doubt many would play with it anyways, but if you ever find a solution that would be nice.

Yes I was talking about this one, and I see, I think she has the same sprite and we meet Sophie for the first time around here too as if she saw us going out of the Blacksmith, that’s why I thought it was her ^^ (but I was expected her to ask question about the Blacksmith, I understand now why she did not)

Also, I think some maps (like the path toward the hot spring) do not have a night settings.

Just some feedback after playing a bit, may add more later.

  • During the barmaid work, movements are sluggish (at least when using the mouse for it). My guess is that the game tries to check if there is an event to trigger when close to a character, which stop the movement for a bit (it’s also possible that it is because I resize the window larger that the base one). I also think there is a line attributed to Emma that should be to the man when under the table.
  • The witch (the small one) is still watching the blacksmith even after the flower (or was it a potion?) being stolen.
  • I also think that the player should be able to check on the curse state (at the church) at any time.

Anyway still a good game and even better from last time I played it with all the new stuff.

When doing an ALT-Tab or clicking on another window, the focus switch to it and is not on the game window anymore. Depending on the system it can reduce resources allocated to non-focused windows but for a 2D games it shouldn’t impact it that much.

One of the event with the Duke, you have to go to his room while naked and avoid the servants.

The mini-game where you walk naked seems to lag when losing focus on the window, not sure if something is wrong with the engine or the script for how the NPC sees you. Restarting the game seems to fix the issue so long as you don’t lose focus of the game window again.

There is also a teleport point missing if you go to the door opposing the one of the Duke (you can go in but not going back).

Finally, one of the maid in the previous map before the Duke room is bugged and loop her dialogue forever (the one to the left).

A good and interesting prototype, would love to see more.

Also I think the game need a perfect dodge that does not consume stamina (or reduce its consumption) to make the fighting a bit faster (or with less “waiting” time for good players).

I’m not sure if it was my bad timing but some attack seems to hit you when behind him too.

I’m not sure why but I can’t download the game via the itch app, even by accessing the download page/button. I can see the zip file listed though, and I can download it via a web browser without issue (which I’ve done, but no auto-update for me then :( ).

I’ve been surprise by the quality of this game as a Fire Emblem and eroge fan, a good game with interesting stuff.

Having played two playthroughs so far, I’ve yet to see everything but one thing that I’ve seen during my first playthrough is that the recollection room is not “global”, so making a new game doesn’t link to it. Which can be normal and fine, but if I try to “End Exploration” in the recollection room, I get a crash while trying to save with no save added. Is there a way to complete the recollection room via multiple playthroughs or do I need to wait for a fix?

Another thing a bit annoying is that there is no way to go back to the main menu while in game.

As for the game itself, I may write a new post when I complete it more, so I will write a minor thing which I found it a bit sad that the dialogues did not really change during the groping after Gwen became a whore. Was expecting her to be more open or something but she has the same lines as her previous classes. That and I think Carwyn should be able to have the erotic/whore class too. But you wrote that more content may come for him so maybe later. :)

Did average I’d say as a first try but it’s alright, just a few things that are a bit frustrating (like the flames) and it would be nice to have a feedback on how long a part/scene is (with a health bar or something), and maybe knowing when we get a checkpoint for a phase too.

Can you support game controller please? (xbox at least as it is the standard on PC) I can’t seem to be able to change the keybinds as I’m not using qwerty and depending on how Unity or your scripts detect keys I may not be able to.

For the card game, you have a npc that explains the rules (the thief), but I think you have to lose the game once for that.

But I would agree with the rest, I also hope to see a bit more city/army management (putting soldiers at specific locations for defense or ask to build/upgrade some buildings for benefits, bonuses or new (sex) events.

I can’t seem to install the windows version of the game (only WebGL) through the itch.io launcher, and the game doesn’t work as some gzip compression is not supported or something. The game does work via web browser (WebGL) or if downloaded outside the launcher with the windows version button option.

Also thumbs up for using Krita! :D

Played before so I know I will enjoy my time with the new stuff added, but I need to share some issues:

  • Would be nice if the game was already extracted and playable. Right now it needs to be done manually before it can be played (and I guess it’ll be needed before every updates).
  • Also the game title shows as version 0.18 instead of 0.19a (downloaded and tested today, free and full RTP). And I guess that’s not what it should show! :P

On Arch Linux you could get the libnotify.so.4 error (with 32 bits packages), by installing this package from AUR it resolve the issue : https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lib32-libnotify....

Maybe a 64bits version can avoid that. Otherwise great game, a bit too small to play on PC though! :D
