This is so cute! I love it, what a unique concept!! The art/UI is so endearing. Very realistic cat dialogue also, and the reveal at the end sent me ;^;

I'm curious about what other features you wanted to add! I kept getting the urge to click on the cat's belly to give it a rub lol but this was my only idea.

Super fair, it took me LOTS of tries to get the hang of it! I've updated the game description to include more information that might make it less frustrating? Hope this helps and thanks for the feedback either way :)

Thanks for the feedback! Since you played it initially, we've released an updated version (during the 24hr late submission window) and I believe both of these bugs should be fixed now! Glad you liked it :)

Yeah I can hear a slight thud every time the blocks collide with a wall! (I'd consider the level completion noise more of a bell jingling sound but it's good too!) Level 20 is a great example of the thud sound effect because if a move causes the red barriers to open and if there are blocks up against that wall, they fall through and land at a slightly different time than the initial thud from that same key press. Created some really nice pitter-pattering in my opinion! Anyways the sound is definitely coming from your game so I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to hear it?

Also yeah I don't think you need to do anything to prevent brute forcing, it's just another way to play! Didn't make it any less fun for me cause I would still end up having to slow down and think about it if I felt like I was caught in a loop of no progression lol. Limited spins would honestly make me less motivated to push through, I think.

I'm amazed at how many levels you've included! I finished the game and I liked the smiley face at the end but I did have to use brute force to get the answer a few times (just randomly shifting the blocks until it worked lol) cause this was genuinely hard!! But so so fun so I had to brag about actually beating every level. As you've mentioned on other comments, 6 is weirdly hard for when it appears, but besides that, I'd say the levels do generally get harder as you progress. Fantastic job, very addicting. (Also the block collision noise was sooo satisfying)

(1 edit)

Took me a bit to get used to the controls but was very satisfying and fun to play once I did! I actually really appreciated the time slow when I rotated the map, though I know some people like more of a challenge. Maybe the length of pause could change depending on a difficulty setting in the future!

Only issue I came across was when I accidentally pressed space in the controls menu and then had to refresh the page because the menu ran away lol.

Overall very impressive and especially for your first finished game!!
