Not actually sure what's going on here, but it's consistently happening after Milo tells you he went to see Anemone and she confirmed that it was mostly likely Malcolm that she helped you and Hazel contact. I chose to say that this seemed more about him disliking himself rather than Malcolm hating who he's become.
