I spent some time trying to fix this issue by myself. Turns out I just needed to run the game in compatibility mode for Windows 8. Have no idea why but it did help.

Hello! I just downloaded the game and instantly came across a problem: when I start a new game and choose to not skip the intro, comes out the following error: 
There is one more error before that as well, but I can't screenshot it, dissapears too fast. Game works fine tho when I skip it. Don't wanna skip the essential part of the story so anyway I can fix this?? Thanks!
