I really liked your game. The scenery was really good. And the world was genuinely beautiful. You captured the majesty of nature without going overboard or making it feel unrealistic. I like the concept of hiking out and setting up camp in the middle of nowhere. It gave an eerie vibe similar to what one might feel while playing Firewatch. I wish more games were created like this. It even felt like I was being watched in the middle of the day.
On the contrary, the game was somewhat choppy, which was more noticeable when the sun was up in-game. However, it is easily forgiven with how beautiful the world is. One of my favorite moments was when you hiked to have lunch by the river.
The pacing seemed a little off. It started really strongly, but felt rushed at the end. I didn't understand the part where you have to freeze when being watched. I like the contrast when the eyes pop up on the screen when you are at the fire. It felt like it was being portrayed that the character is paranoid when hearing those sounds in the distance. But when the eyes showed up later, it was confusing and felt like the eyes belonged to the killer.
As I was saying, though, when you leave your car and head back to the monument, the pacing feels off as soon as it says to stop moving when "He sees you."
Then at night with the car alarm. It ended way too fast. I would have liked to play when waking up and rushing to get my things and leave.
Anyway, I really did like your game. I didn't mean to come across as overly negative. Just wanted to leave some feedback for you! Great Job.
