Thanks for the feedback! However most of what you are requesting is already available on version 0.2.5 that is available here or on Patreon.
It currently features infinite days before the town battle in a true sandbox mode (if you do not advance with the main quest), the new format of quests (main and side). It also fixes the bug with the portraits you are mentioning and with some of the card capture bugs you are mentioning.
The not noticing the other cards and playing with silver, I understand that was a common issue too, I've changed the tutorial on 0.2.5 where it's shown to the player that he has a gold card already in the deck. I will however try to improve this UI as I know it's still far from optimal, thanks for the feedback!
For the card power creep it's something I'm defininitely trying to solve, I've actually launched a poll to see how people felt about it recently. For the next release I won't do anything about, but I plan to come up with a solution for the next releases.
Wow, thanks for all the precious feedback!!
I never realized I didn't mention that the point was to capture the cards or that can be recaptured. That was a major oversight. I re-read the tutorial part as someone who never played Triple Triad and your points are super onpoint!
I will make sure to revamp the tutorial for the next version (0.2.5) and input all the feedback you gave me on it. Again thanks for the very well organized feedback!! :) and I hope you enjoy the newer version even more!
Hi CoE-World, thanks for playing the game!! Very happy you like it :)
Let's go by parts.
- You are playing an older version, if you want try https://deviantdreams.itch.io/echoescardsofdestiny-feb-2024-version it has a revamped arena UI and cards with higher resolution and more playable days. It also has a score track in the game so it's easier to keep tabs on the score
- That said I think it might be a bug that is also present in this new version, it was only reported to me last week :( so I'm working on a fix as we speak
- From what I've seen from the screeshot you should have won so it definitely seems like that bug. However don't forget the player going second starts with 1 point already as he places less one card. This is a little better explained on the newer version, but I definitely need to revamp the tutorial itself as a bit lacking instead
Try the newer version and see if it helps a bit since I think the bug is less prevalent there :)
