Hi everyone,

I’m looking for feedback on an early playable prototype called Tiny Prospector.

It’s a short push-your-luck mining puzzle game where you dig for gold, use row and column clues to avoid BOOOOMs, choose different Mine Claims, and decide when to return to camp before greed gets you caught.

This is a prototype playtest build. The core loop is playable, but final art is still in progress.

I’m mainly looking for feedback on:

  1. Did you understand what to do within the first minute?
  2. Did the core loop make you want to play another run?
  3. Which Mine Claim felt the most fun, confusing, or unfair?
  4. Was anything unclear, awkward, or frustrating on mobile or desktop?

The current Mine Claims are:

  • Starter Claim — normal risks and rewards
  • Boomtown Claim — hidden BOOOOMs shift after safe digs
  • Junkyard Claim — free questionable gear, but replacements cost double
  • Deep Shaft Claim — extra digs build bonus, but greed can collapse the ladder

Any feedback is appreciated, especially around clarity, replayability, and whether the different claims feel meaningfully different.

Thanks for taking a look.
