What a nice addition. As to the viability of forests around cities. Certainly in medieval Europe, that was not uncommon, as many relied on them for ship building. Still good job and props for making them look so elegant like a real map.

Btw I made an SVG of your logo, in case you did not have one already. It is useful on Linux, as scalable icons can be used across many desktops regardless of their size or resolution and still look perfect.

Looks good. Made me smile to see hexes though, but not great for distance calculations.
As @ecrivouilleur mentions, some contour options might be nice too. As caves are rarely level like a man made judging.
