You need to type in words from the letters you get in the grid at the bottom of the game window. The word you are typing shows up in the upper left corner. You can press the "Enter" key on the keyboard to submit that word. Once you have a word submitted, you can use the Space Bar to fire. If the word you submitted isn't a word then the word will just disappear. Also because of issue with the dictionary, the game only recognizes words under 6 letters.
The tab key will give you a new set of letters to use for your words.
Edit: I also just realized on some screens you can't view the whole game window without scrolling. Will fix that in another version. Thanks again!
