My opinion regarding changing the winners...

I’m honestly feeling pretty sad about this.

When the results first came out and I saw that I placed, I was really, really happy. I told my parents right away, and they were proud of me because they actually saw how much time I put into this — staying up late, fixing bugs, trying to make everything work, and also taking time to rate other people’s games properly.

So seeing this new announcement suddenly was kind of shocking. It just didn’t feel good at all.

I understand that this is your first time hosting a jam, and I’m not trying to hate or anything. Everyone makes mistakes, and I respect that you’re trying to fix it.

But at the same time, changing the results after they were already announced feels really unfair to the people who originally won. For us, it wasn’t just a ranking — it actually meant something, especially after all the effort we put in.

I just wish there was a better way to handle this without completely changing the outcome like this. Even something that still respects the original winners in some way.

I just hope you can see why this feels unfair from our side.

So i just finished rating everyone's games, all kinds of games, some were unique, some were scary and etc...

I could rate 5 games...

The only games i could not rate and play are: the afterparty (not finished), Never Die, Sack Man, Shoottoon 2.22 - The Next Level in Cartoon FPS Action, and my own game lol

So the afterparty, never die and Shoottoon, i wasnt able to open the game at all, ive left comments, and afterparty, the developer himself says its not finished... 

Sack Man, there are no comments about the game, and more worse, instead of the size of the game, it had written "External" which im not sure if its safe, so i need some one to clarify here...

And i cant rate my game duhH! lol

Alrightty, so i was MOST EXCITED TO TRY OUT YOUR GAME, cause you were the first to submit!!!!!

But however, i dont know why i am trying this game NOW... but anyways...

So i love the Glitchy graphics, it makes the atmosphere look good, That was FANTASTIC...

However, i didnt know what i had to do, and i was just walking, trying to go into the tunnel, nothing happened, then a black screen came, which i think was the end, but yea...

So basically this game can be very good, right now its a walking simulator, you could add more pathways, some lead you into traps, etc

overall, solid foundation for a masterpiece in the future with updates!

Really unique game, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE CAMERA! it gives me FNAF vibes, really cool!!!!!

I love the facility, it gives me spooky vibes...

However, i think the same as what FireDev told, which is working on the player... and when the killer detects you, it isnt scary, neither does it build up tension, like bro is calmly walking towards me 💀

And yea, overall, i really liked this game, wasnt able to beat it tho, i think thats a skill issue haha!

And yes, due to the short deadline, i was forced to make simple models, and at one point i thought of not even making the flashlight, but yea, i guess i made it lol...

This was a really fun puzzle game, although after the magnifying glass, the puzzles got a little harder, but it was ok, i made it! i couldnt find the phone, and i was too lazy lol, and therefore got the bad ending haha

Nice game, i love the simple atmosphere, good mechanics, although i really wish you make a crosshair, that will be really helpful!

Overall, i really liked this game! Good JOB!!!!!

Ok, this is a really good game, love the pixel art style, Story was actually good, but too much text, and the game was spooky, but not that much, and i think its kinda short, like you have a bathroom, the sisters room, you could have added more stuff, but i know 14 days, thats not a lot of time... and like there is a lot of stuff remaining to the game, BUT one of the most important things are, the game is not that polished... like the movement wasnt smooth at all, and some minor bugs here and there, and i DIDNT EXPECT THAT TWIST AT THE END AT ALL lol...

Overall, i liked this game very much, but still room for improvement...

umm, arrow keys/ wasd to move, Z to interact...

okkkkkkk, THIS GAME WAS THE SCARIEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED, i didnt play it JUST BECAUSE i got soooo scared, i played till shift 4...

There were many MINOR bugs and MAJOR bugs, the major bugs are when i drop the broom, and if i walk over it, it gets yeeted out of the map, and when i grab the trash bag, and put it underneath my feet, i was able to fly lol

minor bugs, everyone has them in their games, EVEN my game lol...

Overall, THE SCARIEST GAME IVE EVERPLAYED,

And i found something, a little more of the map haha

Really unique mechanic of hiding, i loved it! AI was dumber than me haha, but good game, room for improvements are there cause of some minor bugs, AND please, make an optimized version for low end pc, it was lagging... not that bad tho, i was still able to play...

Ok, ima be honest... 

The game is really good, i loved the idea that we had to check the email every night, it was spooky...

BUT i didnt like somethings, like:

I didnt like that every scene, it takes 30 seconds to load, like why? i JUST hated that PART a LOT!

Next is the atmosphere, which is good, and i was about to give you 4 stars, but the trees, they were very basic, and even i used that kind of models, But not like just a sphere, i usually sculpted it...

There were MANY minor bugs, but thats alright, cause every game has those kind of bugs, including mine lol!

And yea, i think thats much, umm, i dont think i was able to beat the game tho, cause the lord some text appeared the second time...

Overall, This game is really really good, but room for improvements are there, and this will DEFINITELY shine in the future with updates!

alright, i love the artstyle of this game!! I know you put a lot of effort into the artstyle, cause its pixelated lol... Nice!

However, the game was a little buggy, like NOT major bugs, minor bugs... so thats ok, cause almost everyone's games have those bugs including me lol...

And the game didnt feel spooky for ME, idk about others tho....

But i WANT A TASK SYSTEM MAN!!! i didnt know what to do, also i wasnt able to beat the game, and i think the generator is broken, so yea!

Atmosphere is REALLY good, i love it, its spooky!!!!!

Id love like a task system, that tells what to do, cause my dumb ahh wasnt able to figure out what to do lol...

Really unique and good idea of escaping the room, the graphics are simple, BUT look very good if you ask me, i love these kind of graphics!

I think the game is a little short, not that much, but a little, i think you could add more puzzles or sokmething like that...

Overall, id say this game has a strong foundation, can shine in future with updates...
