Great! Loved all the ideas in the game and it's well polished as everyone has said. Congratulations!

One of the things that caught my attention is that there is no bullet objects/particles appearing when shooting. Thought that's interesting, it's like in id software early games. And the graphics are very good, one of the best I've seen in this jam. Except for the font of some text, I couldn't read the text above where you type something and the labels in the shop. Enemies are difficult to beat, couldn't pass the second level. With tweaking the collisions and the enemy health, I think you can get an outstanding game. Good job!
"Tried to join a group of New York ninjas. Wasn't accepted." "Loves lasagna" lol. Loved the humor of the game. I liked that you don't have to gather the two clues to have a good guess of who's the criminal. Could catch some cats with only one. I catched 10 cats but not sure if the game kind of crashed after that. I saw more contracts after catching 10. Overall, is a fun game.

I don't use Windows but still manged to run it in my pc. Graphics looked glitchy but I'm sure it's because of the Wine emulation.

Anyways... the concept was fun, I liked navigating through the laberynth until the boss fight. I ran out of books in the first tries and died, but I eventually beat them!

Maybe the only thing I missed was an indicator of my health.
