Just started playing through this! I've been loving the game so far, but some of the puzzles are basically impossible to solve - setups where if you know the solution you can solve them, but if you don't there's no way to make actual progress.

Specifically, the hacking puzzle in the lab is one of these: there's not any 'clean' way of doing it deductively that I can see, and every move affects what future moves are available pretty drastically.

The 'panopticon' is another; the only way I can think of to solve this is to make a spreadsheet, find the correct final configuration, and then use linear algebra (the branch of math, not "y=mx+b") to find the correct set of inputs.

As a very experienced puzzle solver, I get the impression that these puzzles might not have actually been testsolved. Am I just missing hints, or some other method of 'cleanly' solving them? Or is brute force intended - and if so, do you realize how large the state spaces are?

Edit: In the third room, you can softlock on the plushie puzzle, and you can't skip the sewing puzzle.

Just solved - that was a cute little game!

A fun game, but disappointingly short. The first case was a nice tutorial, and the second case was a lot of fun -- but then the third was shorter than the second, and all that was left after that was a short epilogue with some backstory.

I had a good time with the game, but I'm not sure I would recommend it (especially at this price). I was hoping for the cases to go more in-depth with the events -- only the second actually ended up being satisfying. For only 2-3 hours, only about a third to a half of which had satisfying mystery-solving... well, judge for yourself if you can afford to spend the $20 on it.

(Plus, a few times the silhouettes in one character's recollection would spoil a different character walking by, who hadn't been mentioned -- this, as well as some of the motives really only applying to one person, made some parts of the cases feel like a foregone conclusion.)

Looks interesting so far! I think these mechanics are really neat, and can lead to some deep puzzles. Some thoughts on the sets:

A: I got stuck on level 4 here. I think the idea that it communicates probably could've been done better with either a smaller setup, or more reinforcement of the general idea beforehand.

B: Level 2 might not be the best way to teach that concept? It seems like a weird way to introduce it.

C: The crown symbol tutorial was a bit too easy to misinterpret, because the only real 'communication' of the concept seems to be in the first level. I'd recommend adding some more tutorial levels that more directly hint at the concept. (For instance, in the first one, it might be good to put the crown on one side rather than in the center.) Also, it seems that there's an extra condition on crowns that doesn't appear anywhere in the introductory levels here? In D7, this solution doesn't work, and I'm not sure why: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/526649761105969153/746561581290094682/f892d376be.png

D: This mechanic is pretty simple by itself, but the way it combines with others is cool. Love how it introduces an asymmetry - puzzles 4 and 5 show that off nicely.

Oh, and it would be nice to have solved puzzles marked, and have a way to go to the next/previous puzzle without having to go back to the list again.

The game asked me to send screenshots of some solutions, so:
