Understandable. I don't really understand websocket stuff, and I feel like that might just sweep the problem down a step, but I'll see if learning something new helps.

Exactly as the title says. Despite following the suggestions listed (enabling reading keystrokes in legacy x11 apps and running the program in xwayland) it doesn't seem to be able to pick up hotkeys when it's not the focused window. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm on Fedora 42, using KDE Plasma 6.4.3 as the desktop manager, if it's relevant.

just a small thing: it'd be nice if the linux release included a png or such of the app icon that we could point to if we choose to make a desktop file. atm I'm using the little guy you have asking for ko-fi tips (some day, when I'm less poor lol)
