hi there! I'm asking for some help and for a potential patch regarding what I suspect is an unintended sequence break.

Following reaching the coastal type region to the west (can't find out the name at this point because I'm trapped inside Throne), I went exploring around the ocean with the flying mount and came across the arena with Niamh. Given all the other fakeouts and tricks in the game, I was thinking this was all a ruse and not the real Niamh as I still had another entire bicone to find in the northwest, a region I haven't even gotten to explore. I won against her, and it has locked me into a sequence of events which has trapped me inside Throne with what I think is the last boss, very underlevelled and unprepared!



I've attempted this boss fight a handful of times and I'm just taking far too much damage. Would it be too much to ask to be able to exit Throne and come back when I'm ready? Or a potential save that rolls me back before entering that arena? I'm devastated I may have softlocked myself in a game that I was enjoying so so much. Thank you for reading and your consideration!

hi there, not the developer but for a hint, the code involves birth day and month rather than year. the alphanumerical hint is a little misleading, if you translate according to the A=0 B=1 etc. guide you should have no problem. enjoy!

the narrative themes of Neotrogla targeted me at such a perfect time and i like it in such a normal way, so i really appreciate how you can look back and reflect on how that experience could be made even better! you're only improving with every new step forward in your game development, and i'm honestly so psyched for what you have planned in the future

i liked this one!! really fun sound design and modelling, i could feel the passion in that synthesiser :)

i particularly loved that minor dream sequence towards the start which perfectly emulated those strange "game dreams" i had a lot when i was a kid after playing games for too long, where it was like i was INSIDE future racer 2000... really just so much fun, nice work!

really loved the music and atmosphere, I know im like a thousand years late but great work!

boy, does this unnerve me. i absolutely adore the overall look of the game and goddamn is the ambience/audio direction perfect. the gameplay and visuals really do throw me back to the psx era, and the SFX are all so lovely. brilliant atmosphere, really kept me feeling very uncomfortable. all in all, great work!!

i thought i'd type out some thoughts/things i noticed!

things i thought might be intentional
-player can still be hurt while climbing through the hole in the wall
-in some rooms/zones time feels as though it's been sped up

little things:
-maybe assign ESC to leave the inventory menu? just something i kept accidentally doing!
-while mashing the E key to enter a room only finding it to be locked/blocked, the prompted messages stacked over each other and wouldn't let me move unless i dismissed them all!
EDIT:
-allow us to skip cutscenes;;
-can still open the inventory screen during cutscenes

i loved this and i really truly cannot wait for more. youre extremely talented and I'll be waiting with bated breath for updates/a full version!! those things are definitely going to be in my dreams tonight :'D

hey no problem! i'd prefer for you to prepare yourself for the steam release than have a potentially awkward/mis-timed one ^^ take care of yourself, can't wait to see more!
