I know this isn't a small request, so please don't feel bad if the answer is no. The game looks amazing as-is!

But would it be possible to add gamepad support? My PS5 controller works for movement, but the game seems to heavily requires a mouse for dashing. (On a laptop too, so the trackpad doesn't work great for a such fast paced game.)

That said, I already really enjoy the bit I was able to play. Very nice work! Thank you.

This feels like a game Kim Ross would play in-between epic cyborg battles and ineffective flirting.

I dislike visual novels, but I'm happy I gave this one a shot. It was so wholesome and well designed! I even found myself getting better at understanding the dialogue as I went. The story, the art, the presentation? All very good!

This was a cute game. The ending wasn't exactly what I expected, but made sense.

Aw, thank you. That's kind of you, but please don't do too much on my account. I just wanted to offer honest feedback.

You can't make something that fits everyone, and the game is already impressive. That's why I wanted to try it, it looks great! Don't let my video game preferences put a damper on that.

Develop the game in a way that makes you happy. It's okay if it doesn't fit everyone. You've got something to be proud of here.

Tried the demo, but encountered a frustrating cardinal sin of gaming. It kept stealing control away from the player to do slow camera panning every few steps or interactions. I got annoyed at being constantly interrupted while trying to play, and just uninstalled it.

I know this is just me. Don't judge the game too harshly based on my preferences.

I stumbled back across this after a year or so, and am equal parts excited and disappointed that the story is still being worked on. I'm very happy to wait  though. It's not often that I get invested in fictional characters. I just want the characters to end up okay and happy. ...hell, even Todd.

All I originally wanted was some smut. Now I'm invested and care about the happiness of these fictional characters.

What have you done to me?

On a related note, I'm loving the plot development from the latest... conversation. Realized it was more that it seemed early on, but was trying not to get my hopes up. No spoilers, but damn it's a wild ride.

This is a brilliant little game. It took me a while to figure out what was even going on, and a little bit longer to figure out with a different tiles would land. As soon as I got my first power up? Ability? Bonfire boon?

Anyway, as soon as I got that and a side panel popped open, I know this game was a keeper.

That's great to hear. Glad  you're okay too. Wasn't joking when I said a handful of my co-workers have had COVID-19 related deaths or serious illnesses in their families. I get a little paranoid now when I don't hear from someone in a while. :(

I hope the creator is okay. The last update was 173 days ago. Maybe they're just busy with work or making a big update of some kind. With COVID and everything going on, too many people have been lost or had a life changing illness.  A lot of my coworkers had to bury people this year. :(

Wishing you all the best. Stay safe out there everyone.

I don't if I set the smooth turning speed to the highest setting. If it's a slow turn, I'll vomit. Super fast turn? No problem.

Heads up: The Linux version is an EXE file.

Finally had some extra money. Went ahead and linked my Steam account then bought the game here. Very much looking forward to it being released on Steam. Love this game.

Question: Does the throwing dagger throw direction still depend on where you're looking? Still 100% worth the money, even if it does.

Might have found a bug.

After playing the demo on a friend's computer for hours, I could never figure out why my knife throwing was so randomly bad. Even throwing at the same spot would have wildly different results sometimes. I kept dying because I would throw the knife, and it wouldn't land anywhere near where I wanted it to.

I just started playing it at home and instantly realized why. For whatever reason, the knife refuses to be thrown outside your field of view... or something. If I try to throw it behind me, it just goes off to the side of my vision.

Let me repeat that. Tossing it over my shoulder makes it fly out in front of me, to the left or right.

If I am looking directly at an enemy, I can throw the knife directly at them. If I am looking to the left or right of an enemy when I throw, the knife's flight angle is somehow relative to where I'm looking.  It changes, even if my real world arm motion is the same.

I can't realistically practice and get better at the knife throwing if the same arm motion constantly gives different aim.

EDIT: This weird bug aside, I love this game. Thank you very much for working on it!
