I can’t really tell what the problem is, what do you mean “ended like that”. Did you get the art associated with the quasar ending? It’s a very colourful piece, hard to miss.

For the quasar ending make sure you have Ray’s love at/above 50, run for the balcony, take his hand, then choose the “I hope you find” option. The graphic walkthrough posted here isn’t very clear since its a little jumbled at the bottom.

I woke up yesterday with Ray on the brain and HAD to replay this. This VN is so good, I highly recommend to everyone.

A great little game! It’s a bit quick but since it’s a game jam, thats fine by me! The little bit of lore we get is delicious >:3c I really look forward to what u make next!

(1 edit)

I absolutely adore this game. I own it on steam currently and gosh I cannot recommend it enough. I’m the anon on tumblr who sent in that ask about being insane for X, I commed my friend to doodle something of the two LI’s. I cannot begin to explain the brainworms this game has given me, ugh X is so cute.

Anyways, thank you devs! I really look forward to your future work!!

I know this is mostly answered below, but I’m still gunna answer too because one of the specific endings actually spells it out. I’m gunna spoiler tag the majority of this, but you should REALLY try the paranoia poly ending (ending 7 in the little guide in game), it explains a lot to do with Levon. It DOES involve death but

Spoiler warning

the dead are brought back to life. Personally, because of how the ending explains that Levon is a demon and expands on the terms of being a demon, I like to choose the X memory and then biting Levon. Below im just gunna type out what the ending explicitly says/is so close this if you dont want to read it:

Levon kills X during the fight by snapping his neck, and the MC (subdued) kills Levon by accident on instinct. After MC slaughters the guests and staff in a fit of despair, Levon appears to them again alive, with his demon features showing. The dialogue explains that Levon made a pact with a demon. His patron wants souls and he has to eat hearts to survive. (Very ironic considering he is mentioned in another ending to not like eating meat). Levon collects the blood from his guests for the MC, as his blood can no longer sustain a vampire due to not being human blood (was hinted at when you bite Levon). Levon explains after this that he only became a demon to be immortal, together with the MC forever. The MC bullies Levon into performing a demonic rite for X. I recommend saving at the POV screen there, because Levon’s POV and X’s POV are both insightful. In X’s POV, we get a scene of X waking up and being talked at by a demon. He’s not interested in listening until the demon makes it clear he could accept a contract and be with the MC again. Levon’s POV reveals that despite having done this before, he doesn’t really have a full understanding of it. His attempts to fuck up the ritual don’t work. Lev only knows as much as he himself has experienced. X appears to them as a demon, absolutely giddy to be back. MC forces Levon to apologize and the boys start trying to kill each other with their demon tails. They banter mostly towards the end of it, we get some verification that demons are incredibly resilient.

It’s my first or second favorite ending honestly, partially for the implications but also because it shows how absolutely whipped the boys are for the MC.
